Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Monday that the Golan Heights would remain part of Israel forever.
Netanyahu said in a tweet on Twitter "toured the Golan today with Senator Gerham and the US ambassador."
"The Golan has always been a part of Israel since the first days of our history and it has been part of Israel since 1967, and the Golan must remain part of Israel forever."
"It is important that the international community recognize this, especially America."
