    "The stream of wisdom, led by Ammar al-Hakim on Tuesday for the sale and purchase of presidencies of parliamentary committees, permanent in the Iraqi Council of Representatives.

    "The disagreement over the presidency of some of the committees reached a road without a solution, because of the political conflict on it, especially the task of it, each party wants to acquire it," MP Jassim al-Bukhati told Asharq Al-Awsat.

    He added that "there are indications reached us from the committees, that there are the sale and purchase of receivables, for the purpose of the receipt of certain personalities to head the important parliamentary committees, and this is a serious indicator of the work of the parliamentary oversight."

    The Iraqi Council of Representatives in its current session to move for the nomination of members of its parliamentary committees and presidencies as the political blocs agreed on Monday to nominate a group of names to elect them by voting in the presidencies of the committees.

    The source told Ashqaf News that the names are as follows: Hibt Al Halbusi for the alliance of "Axis" for the presidency of oil and energy, Ahmed Kanani for the State of Law bloc to head the Committee on Economy and Investment, proof of the Alliance for the reform of the presidency of the Services Committee, and Haytham Jubouri for the alliance to the presidency of the Finance Committee, Shiaa al-Sudani from the bloc of the rule of law to chair the work committee, and thunder Dahlaki for the Axis alliance to head the Committee of the displaced.

    The blocs failed to nominate a candidate for the parliamentary security and defense committee and postponed it to another date, as the main candidates for its presidency were former interior minister Mohammed Salem al-Ghabban for Badr, Adnan al-Asadi for the state of law, and Mohammad Reza for Sason.
