Nujaifi: Parliamentary bodies accused of collusion with the local council of the province of Nineveh

A member of the House of Representatives, the head of the Iraqi decision coalition, Osama Nujaifi, that the deputies for Nineveh will prevent the selection of any corrupt governor, directing accusations to the [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/67040/%D8%AC%D9%87%D8%A7%D8%AA %D8%A8%D8%B1%D9%84%D9%85%D8%A7%D9%86%D9%8A%D8%A9][size=13]parliamentary parties[/url] in collusion with [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/11851/%D8%A7%D9%84%D9%85%D8%AC%D9%84%D8%B3 %D8%A7%D9%84%D9%85%D8%AD%D9%84%D9%8A]the local council of the[/url] province of Nineveh.
Nujaifi said: "The people of Nineveh unanimously agreed on the reform and the deputies of Nineveh of all components agreed on a clear approach is to support the crisis cell and prevent the corrupt provincial council from running the next phase."
"There have been scandals of embezzlement amounting to 200 billion dinars in one way or another contributed by the local council," he said. "There was a serious desire by many loyal forces to freeze this council and launch the crisis cell authorized by the prime minister in Emaar Ninewa professionally, but unfortunately the same group involved in the intervention in Nineveh, which is trying to steal their capabilities contributed in one way or another not to pass this decision today, and broke the quorum and canceled the paragraph awaited by the people of Nineveh.
"The people of Nineveh will not accept interference in their affairs, and the deputies of Nineveh are determined to freeze this Council and will block any attempt to choose a corrupt governor through a provincial council is not qualified to duty."
It is noteworthy that the report of the Commission of Inquiry Parliament, had recommended the dissolution of the provincial council and the removal of the governor, which collected for it 176 signatures of deputies in parliament, before withdrawing some of his signature, and the disruption of the quorum of the session, according to deputies of Nineveh.
