    The Council of Muthanna province, on Wednesday, the approval of the Ministry of Oil to spend more than 10 billion dinars of social benefits funds for oil patches.
    Council member Ahmed Salal told Al-Maaloumah that "the Ministry of Oil has agreed to spend the social benefits on the tenth oil pits and the second to be disbursed with service projects."
    He added that "a directive was issued to foreign companies in these patches to launch funds allocated to the province of Muthanna," adding that "the funds will be spent to establish service projects in the areas of Salman, Khadr and Draghi."
    Salal stressed that "the amounts will contribute to the establishment of a number of service projects in those areas."
