The security and defense committee of parliament on Saturday that the security services reached 70 percent of the knowledge of the identity of the perpetrators of the Kirkuk bombings.
"The Security and Defense Committee of the parliament arrived in the province of Kirkuk and held a press conference," the correspondent of the Iraqi News Agency (INA) said. "The committee confirmed during the conference the importance of preserving the security achievements in Kirkuk."
He added that "the parties in the province need more support in terms of the return of the displaced and the elimination of sleeper cells," stressing that "there should be coordination between the Peshmerga and federal forces."
The committee also pointed to the need for maintenance of sonar equipment and support for the security command in the city.
"The burning of crops in the province is not deliberate by parties against parties, which is a general case," the committee said during the conference.
