US vision raises Iranian-Iranian data and wonders whether "Abdul-Mahdi" gamers in his future?

The Iraqi government's move to put the Iranian-backed militias under the leadership of the army is a "political gamble" by Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi, especially as it comes amid escalating tensions between Washington and Tehran, the main players in Iraq, an Associated Press report said. 
The report pointed out that the move came to counter US pressure to limit the influence of the militias, a move that allows Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi to show a hard line ahead of a planned visit to Washington in the coming weeks. 
But it is unlikely that Abdul Mahdi will be able to rein in the powerful Iranian-backed militias, thus risking his status and could emerge weak and ineffective in the event of failure. 
Leaders of some major armed factions welcomed the decision, such as Asaib Ahlul Haq, Badr and the Peace Brigades, as a step in the right direction.
But a militia leader said his group had secret offices that would not shut down and described Abdul Mahdi's decision as "American." 
He told the Associated Press on condition of anonymity that the prime minister and Americans "dream" if they think they can implement the resolution. 
Hizbollah, one of the largest militias with close ties to Iran, also criticized the decision indirectly in a statement issued on Thursday. 
"The main responsibility of the government is to remove what it called the US occupation forces and its affiliates from Iraq, because they pose a major threat to security," she said, but did not say whether she would abide by Abdul Mahdi's orders. 
"The goal of the Iranian regime is to integrate the popular mobilization forces into a separate structure within the military structure, as is the case with the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, to become an Iraqi Revolutionary Guard," said Joe Macaron of the Arab Center in Washington.
"Abdul Mahdi is trying to gain time because he is under pressure from both Washington and Tehran," he said. 
"Some here in Washington or in the Arab region welcome this Iraqi decision, but the fact is that it will not be implemented without Iran's approval," McCron said. 
Iraqi political analyst Wathiq al-Hashemi agrees with McCron and believes that the armed factions will not respond to the government, "because its members are ideologically compatible with Iran and receive direct orders from them." 
The Iraqi Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi issued a resolution Monday to merge the factions of popular mobilization in the regular armed forces, and the closure of all the headquarters bearing the name of any of these factions. 
The Prime Minister gave the armed factions until July 31 to abide by the new resolution, and the best of its members is to join the armed forces or engage in political action in accordance with party laws.
