    BAGHDAD / JD / student assembly .. Iraqi industrial, federal government apply the Tariff Act entirely on imported materials to support the national product.
    The head of the assembly Abdul Hassan Shammari told / JD /: "The Iraqi Council of Representatives approved the 2010 Tariff Act, which is one of the important laws of the national economy, he supports the local product, but so far not applied the law correctly."He added: "The Ministry of Planning announced since the beginning of the current year from the application of the law in part on some of the material to include (115) imported material, and mostly limited to cosmetics and luxuries, leaving the industrial materials that can be manufactured in the country."He added that the current government or the next, which will be after the elections are required to apply the law entirely on all imported materials to support the local industry and development.The Ministry of Planning announced in the last year from the application of tariffs on some imported materials at the beginning of the month of January of the year 2014.
