The Office of the Minister of Interior, on Thursday, full details of the meetings of Erbil.
The office said in a statement received (Mawazine News) a copy, that its minister, "Yassin Taher Yasiri held a meeting today, with the Minister of Interior of the Kurdistan Region Reaper Ahmed at the headquarters of the Ministry of the Region in the presence of senior officers of the two ministries."
She added, "The meeting discussed a number of important files related to administrative issues of the work of the departments of nationality, passports and national card, in addition to discussing the issue of expanding the scope of issuance of the unified national card for citizens and the opening of new issuance centers in the Kurdistan region."
The ministry said, "The meeting discussed means of providing support from the Federal Ministry to the Ministry of the Region, since there are many departments related to the Center and the region, including passports and national card as well as matters related to the Directorate of Travel and Nationality."
"The two ministers agreed on the importance of joint cooperation with regard to training and security development, understanding on the implementation of arrest warrants issued against wanted persons, handing over detainees to the Iraqi judiciary to other governorates, and unifying efforts to combat drugs, transnational crime and criminal crimes."
She pointed out, "It was also agreed on the need to facilitate the procedures for the completion of citizens' transactions in the provinces of the Kurdistan Region and all other Iraqi provinces, and to emphasize the facilitation of entry of Iraqi citizens to the region and raise the entrance fees of (10) thousand dinars."
For his part, instructed Interior Minister "Yassin Taher Yasiri" to "equip the directorates with the equipment and equipment they need, authorizing the Minister of Interior of the Kurdistan region," Reaper Ahmed "to grant entry visas visit, tourism and emergency and to adopt visas in all Iraqi provinces."
In turn, the Minister of Interior of the region expressed his "happiness for the visit of the Federal Minister of the Interior to the Kurdistan Region," expressing his thanks for "the important decisions and directives instructed by His Excellency regarding the issues raised during the meeting."
