Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) -The Cassation Committee within the Justice and Accountability Commission invalidated the decision of involving the head of the Federal Court, Midhat al-Mahmoud, in the JAC’s procedures of debaathification.
A statement by the Committee received by IraqiNews.com cited “The Cassation Committee in the JAC rejected this decision.”
Earlier, the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, dismissed the head of the JAC, Falah Shanshal, and tasked Basim Shareef al-Badri, to replace him on the background of involving Mahmoud in the JAC’s procedures of debaathification.
