The sources said that the messages the Amir exchanged with [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/132889/%D9%82%D8%A7%D8%AF%D8%A9 %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%AE%D9%84%D9%8A%D8%AC]Gulf leaders[/url] recently, especially with the Saudi King, included several important points, most notably turning the page of the Gulf dispute and facing the challenges in the region and the situation in Iraq.
She added, "These messages are important in light of the volatile situations in the region that require communication and coordination," pointing to "keenness to continue these messages as there is optimism that positive results will emerge to resolve the Gulf dispute and the reunification of the Gulf Cooperation Council."
As for US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo's recent contact with Secretary of State Sabah Al-Khaled, the sources stressed that it "included coordination on the current situation and work to resolve it away from any escalation, in addition to efforts to resolve the Gulf dispute."
