The parliamentary legal committee confirmed on Wednesday that it had completed the legal drafting of amendments to the law of public pension and sent to the Presidency to vote, indicating that reducing the legal age and increase the minimum is the most important in the amendments.
A member of the Committee Hussein al-Oqabi in a statement to the information, that "the law committee included all the interventions of deputies in the second reading of the amendment of the General Retirement Law has finished the final legal drafting of the amendments and sent to the Presidency of the Council for inclusion in the next session for the purpose of voting."
Al-Oqabi added that “the amendments included many articles of the law and its paragraphs, but the most important thing in these amendments is the amendment of the legal age, which set the age of 60 years instead of 63 and females 58 years instead of 60 years,” stressing that “the minimum salary will be raised. Retirement between 550 and 600 thousand dinars. Ends / 25 m
