    On Saturday, the MP of the Kurdistan Islamic Group, Salim Hamza, revealed that former Minister of Communications Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi submitted a request to the Kurdish forces for the purpose of supporting him to run for the position of the next prime minister, explaining that the request was placed under discussion and dialogue with him.
    Hamzah said in a statement to the "information", that "Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi submitted a written request to the 50 representatives of the Kurdistan Alliance for the purpose of supporting him in running for the post of prime minister."
    Hamzah added, "The Kurdish forces asked him for a CV," noting that "his request is under discussion, whether through dialogue with him or internal dialogue between the Kurdish forces."
    The head of the Parliament’s Bayrak al-Khair bloc, Muhammad al-Khalidi, had revealed in a previous statement to “Information”, that there was an initial conviction of the President of the Republic, Barham Salih, to appoint Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi to head the next government, indicating that Allawi won a parliamentary referendum from a group of five other candidates. Ended in / 25 pm
