The "Victory" coalition led by Haider al-Abadi accused resigned Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi of concluding [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/134177/%D8%A7%D8%AA%D9%81%D8%A7%D9%82%D9%8A%D8%A7%D8%AA %D8%AE%D8%B7%D9%8A%D8%B1%D8%A9][size=13]serious agreements[/url] with the Kurdistan region in exchange for his stay in office.
A coalition spokesperson, Ayat Al-Mutafar, said in a press statement: "The visit of the resigned Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi to the Kurdistan region surprised everyone, especially in light of the difficult circumstances that Iraq is going through."
Al-Mudhafar added: "Iraq is going through many problems on all political, economic and security levels. Therefore, the government's effort should be focused on resolving these crises, not searching for personal benefits."
And she continued: "The data available to us confirm that Abdul Mahdi seeks through his meetings with the political parties, to re-assign him to his position again after he submitted his resignation."
