Al-Nasr Coalition spokesperson Ayat Al-Mudhafar revealed her coalition’s stance towards participating in the government of Prime Minister-designate Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi, and from voting on his cabinet in the dome of the House of Representatives.
Al-Mudhafar said in a statement that Allawi’s government will be different from its predecessors due to the situation of the street and the pressure of the religious authority and the political blocs that set specific criteria for forming the new government, noting that the first criteria called for by the victory coalition are the ceding of privileges in this government, and that obtaining Franchises through early elections and via polls.
Al-Mudhafar clarified that the victory coalition vote on Allawi’s booth will be mortgaged, firstly, to the independence of the ministerial booth, and secondly, to be among the talents and independents away from political quotas.
