    deputy of the Al-Fateh coalition, Ahmad Al-Kinani, confirmed on Monday that Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi is the candidate of the President of the Republic, Barham Salih, and not the Shiite house, pointing out that negotiations to form a government are limited between Saleh and Allawi.
    Al-Kanani said in a statement to the "information", that "the nomination of Allawi was not from the Shiite house as many believe," noting that "the nomination of Allawi was through the President of the Republic Barham Saleh."
    Al-Kanani added, "The negotiations to form the government between Allawi and Saleh," noting that "Al-Fateh should not be held responsible for choosing Allawi because the latter is a valid candidate, meaning that he is the Kurdish candidate."
