The Minister of Industry and Minerals, Saleh Abdullah Al-Jubouri, has announced that the ready-to-wear factory in Mosul will produce medical masks with a capacity of 30,000 masks per day.
Al-Jubouri said in a statement seen by "Al-Iqtisad News", that "the ready-made garment factory in Mosul started producing masks for the purpose of equipping hospitals and hospitals and putting them on the market soon at cheap prices compared to the selling prices in pharmacies, which raised the prices, considering that these masks are one of the prevention methods From the Corona virus. "
He stressed the importance of "providing the possibility to increase production during the coming period in the context of a serious endeavor to secure the various medical supplies for Nineveh Governorate and for all governorates."
He added that "there is a possibility at the other mentioned factories of the company, such as the cotton factory and the men's clothing factory in Najaf, to produce various medical supplies, including gags."
