, Independent MP Muhammad Shia'a Al-Sudani confirmed on Sunday that there are calls from some political blocs to make amendments to the ministerial cabinet submitted by Allawi, pointing out that holding a session of granting confidence is subject to making the amendments.
Al-Sudani said, "Some political blocs, especially the Kurdish, Sunni and even Shi'a, have reservations about the ministerial formation submitted by the head of the commissioner, and called for amendments before voting on them."
He added, "The vote on the ministerial cabinet is subject to some amendments to it by the Prime Minister-designate, indicating that if no amendment is made to the ministerial cabinet, the special session will not be held to give confidence."
