Parliamentary Integrity: An American company takes 49% of Basra gas profits for supervision only !!

The Parliamentary Integrity Committee confirmed that the American company "Shell" will receive wages estimated at 49% of the Basra Gas Company profits in exchange for supervision of the work only.
A member of the Integrity Committee, Abdul Amir Al-Mayahi, said in a press statement: "After the completion of its work in the Majnoon oil field, the American Shell Company went to invest in gas in Iraq with a joint contract with the South Oil Company, and then transferred to Basra Gas Company after announcing the establishment of the company."
He added: "The contract stipulates that the American company be granted profits estimated at 49% of the total profits in exchange for overseeing the work only." He pointed out: "The Basra Petroleum Company prevented the Integrity Committee from entering and investigating the matter and invoked false pretenses."
