Private sector needs government’s support, says MP

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) -MP, Abdul Hussein Abtan, the member of the Parliamentary Economic Committee stated that the private sector in Iraq needs a big support by the government.
Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “The private sector is not as required and some call to involve it with the investment and developmental process in Iraq.”
“There are several problems in the private sector such as the corruption in the governmental institutions,” he concluded.
Some observers state that the private sector in Iraq is negatively affected by the political situation in Iraq which resulted in increasing the ratio of unemployment.
