Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi agreed, Thursday, with the head of the Al-Nasr coalition, Haider al-Abadi, on the importance of unity in order to support the government in implementing its plans.
Al-Abadi’s office said in a statement that the agency received a copy of it. The latter “was received by his Al-Kazemi office, and Al-Abadi blessed him with the vote of the parliament for his government and his confidence, wishing him success in his work amid the great challenges facing the country.”
He added, "The meeting witnessed a discussion of the overall political, security and economic conditions and their developments, and the plans of the government of Mr. Al-Kazemi to stop the great decline in most sectors and the implementation of his government program and prepare the ground for early elections and achieve the true demands of the demonstrators and aspirations of our people."
The importance of class unity and efforts by political blocs to support the government in implementing its plans and placing the country on the right path to build the state of institutions was also emphasized, according to the statement.
