Soon .. A draft law on freedom of expression will be put to the vote in Parliament

The Human Rights Committee in the House of Representatives announced, Saturday, that the draft freedom of expression bill will be completed and voted on soon, stressing that the legislation of the law is an urgent necessity .
Deputy Chairman of the Committee Qusay Abbas said that "the draft law on freedom of expression awaits its presentation on the agenda," indicating that "the legislation of the law has become an urgent necessity after the opening of Iraq to the outside world ."
Abbas added, "There are no fundamental differences over the law," pointing out that "the law on freedom of opinion and expression will be submitted to the vote within the coming days ."
