Member of Parliament Alia Nassif revealed, on Saturday, the details of the political blocs' agreement with the region regarding their share of the budget, indicating the existence of a “rebellion” by most of the members of the House of Representatives on the agreement, and they collected signatures to discuss the articles related to the region separately .
Nassif said that "the heads of political blocs agreed with the representatives of the region to receive 230 barrels per day without specifying the amount extracted by the region, especially since the region controls oil wells outside the borders of the region, which are located in Kirkuk and others ."
She added that "the agreement between the heads of political blocs and representatives of the region was at the expense of investment plans and the provinces," indicating that "the agreement was completed quickly without knowing the secret of this agreement ."
Nassif indicated that "most of the MPs who do not obey the heads of their blocs blindly rebelled against the agreement and began collecting signatures demanding that the items related to the film be discussed separately," it is likely that "the budget will not be passed today for this reason."
