      • "Parliament voted to amend the law that was issued when Iyad Allawi was Prime Minister No. 30 and is still in effect, " Harb said in a statement to Al-Sabah newspaper, followed by  IQNEWS .

      He added that the speed in settling the law and the meeting of the Judicial Council to select judges due to the proximity of the elections that must be held in October of this year.

      Harb revealed that there is no "obstacle to dissolving parliament after approving the current year budget."
