Khashan: The government has not brought about a change in economic policies ... the failure is still there

Independent MP Basim Khashan said that the government continues with the same economic policies that its predecessors worked with, pointing out that failure will continue in the absence of any fundamental changes in the economic situation of the country .
Khashan said, "It is okay for Iraq to hold summits and meetings with poor or rich countries for the sake of trade and benefit him, but despite these moves, the government did not bring anything new to developing the country or creating the desired change ."
He added, "What the Iraqi government took under the leadership of Al-Kazemi came with the same previous ideas and there was no economic change or development in terms of projects and economic policies ."
And that "the government is supposed to fulfill the most important priorities for Iraq and its people instead of relying on the same previous policies taken by successive governments, as Iraq will continue to fail because there are no fundamental changes in its economic policy."
