    {Baghdad: Al-Furat News} Today, Sunday, the Border Ports Authority announced that a container was seized outside the Customs campus at the control of search and investigation. The description of its goods and quantities was tampered with, causing a waste of public money of 6 million Iraqi dinars at the port of Umm Qasr northern port.

    "The port of Umm Qasr North port seized a container outside the Customs campus when the search and investigation was controlled. The description of its goods and quantities was tampered with, which caused a waste of public money of (6 million) Iraqi dinars," the authority’s media said in a statement.
    The statement added that "what was seized according to a fundamentalist report was referred to the investigating judge of Umm Qasr Court to take the necessary legal measures against her and the right of the negligent customs officers who carried out customs transactions, contrary to the controls and instructions."
