A statement by the Ministry of Defense, a copy of which (Al Furat News) received, stated, "This came during the meeting of the President of the Defense University for Higher Military Studies, Lieutenant General Saad Mazhar Al-Alaq at his office in Baghdad, Al-Shammari, for the purpose of delivering the lecture tagged {Saudi Arabia's policy in supporting the security and stability of Iraq }, For those studying the National Defense Course No. (24). "
She added, "During the meeting, views were exchanged to develop cooperation in the interest of the two countries."
For his part, the Saudi ambassador explained, "What links his country to brother Iraq is not just dialogue or common interests, but brotherhood, blood, history and a single destiny."
He pointed out that "the Kingdom puts all its capabilities and experiences in the service of Iraq and enhances communication between the two countries at the strategic level, as well as opening new horizons for cooperation in various fields and levels."
