[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.][size=15]The Ministry of Electricity, through its official spokesman, Ahmad Musa Al-Abadi, announced on Saturday a promise to citizens to increase the hours of supplying energy to citizens, while Al-Abadi indicated that the current summer will be better in "overall" than before, by supplying energy to citizens .[/size]
[size=15]Al-Abadi said that "the energy production from generating stations throughout Iraq is currently about 15 thousand megawatts, and it is expected to reach 22 thousand megawatts by the beginning of next June, which will provide large and very satisfactory processing hours for citizens compared to previous years."[/size]
[size=15]He pointed out, "Not speculating about the processing hours because they are governed by the size of the excess on the network and the commitment of the governorates to the quotas and the supply of gas to the stations, and dealing with the matter may result in some accidents and technical emergencies and damage to the transformers, and therefore the supply will vary from one region to another."[/size]
[size=15]He added, "What the ministry aspires to is to reach production to 22 thousand megawatts next June, which will help provide citizens with satisfactory hours of electricity that are better than last summer in general, provided that the gas supply is stable, which, if available, the ministry will be able to reach 28 thousand." [size=15]He stated, "On the 17th of this month, the official opening of the first unit of the Salah al-Din thermal station with a capacity of 630 megawatts will be witnessed, followed 3 months later by the second unit at a rate of 630 megawatts, and thus the station will have supplied the system with 1,260 megawatts."[/size]
