Erbil (Kurdistan 24)- Next September, Erbil will host a major international exhibition for investment and real estate with wide local, Arab and international participation.
The exhibition will be launched from the seventh to the 10th of next September, with the participation of Turkey, Iran, UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Lebanon, Cyprus, China and Italy.
The exhibition organizers said in a statement that companies from other European and Asian countries will participate in the exhibition along with major companies inside Iraq, especially the Kurdistan Region.
The companies will include various sectors, including those related to investment, real estate, residential projects and buildings, as well as equipment for construction projects and project preparation companies, in addition to the contracting sector, banks, financial and credit institutions, sales and shopping centers.
In September 2019, the capital of the Kurdistan Region hosted the first international exhibition for investment and real estate, with the participation of more than 150 companies from 10 Arab and foreign countries.
The second edition was scheduled to launch in 2020, but the outbreak of the Corona pandemic prevented that. It is the first and largest investment exhibition in Iraq.
Organizers say that the exhibition, in its second edition, aims to stimulate the economy in the Kurdistan Region and promote real estate investment among the countries participating in the exhibition.
The exhibition provides greater opportunities for investment in the Kurdistan Region and urges participating Arab and foreign companies to expand their investments in the real estate sector.
Before the outbreak of Corona, Erbil hosted up to 20 international exhibitions in various fields during 2019, and no exhibition was held throughout 2020.
And this year, Erbil organized the "HITEX" exhibition for information technology, and the pioneers presented their ideas during their work in the largest technology event in the whole of Iraq.
The Kurdistan Region hopes to host more international exhibitions after the return to normal life since the easing of closure restrictions and precautionary and preventive measures.
