{Local: Al Furat News} The Ministry of Construction and Transportation in the Kurdistan Region announced its intention to build a railway in the Kurdistan Region in cooperation with a German company.
The ministry said in a statement that Al-Furat News received a copy of it today, Wednesday, that the Minister of Construction and Transportation in the Kurdistan Regional Government, Dana Abdul Karim, has arrived in Germany and will meet with officials of a German company to discuss the design of the railway project in the Kurdistan Region.
The Kurdish minister arrived in the German capital, Berlin, today at 2:00 p.m., and will meet with officials of the "deutschebahn" company, according to the ministry's statement.
The Ministry of Construction and Communications indicated that the visit of the Kurdish delegation headed by the Minister of Construction and Communications to Berlin comes within the framework of an attempt to implement the railway project in the Kurdistan Region.
It is noteworthy that the Minister of Construction and Communications in the Kurdistan Region said, when announcing the work program of his ministry in the ninth government booth, that the ministry will work to establish a railway in the Kurdistan Region.
