Integrity launches the National Integrity and Anti-Corruption Strategy for the years (2021-2024)

{Local: Al Furat News} The Federal Integrity Commission launched today, Monday, the National Integrity and Anti-Corruption Strategy for the years (2021-2024), which was previously approved by the Council of Ministers under Resolution No. (181) on 6/6/2021.
This strategy is one of the requirements of the United Nations Convention against Corruption, to which Iraq joined in the year 2007, and it is an advanced step in this field, as it entrusts tasks and duties entrusted to all state institutions and sectors, and then committees undertake to measure the level of commitment of those institutions and sectors to those tasks. The strategy provides wide opportunities for cooperation between the regulatory agencies, the three authorities, and the various state institutions and sectors, with a focus on activating participation in the process of diagnosing corruption phenomena and developing alternatives and treatments, as well as providing wide opportunities for training and developing the cadres of those institutions and sectors affiliated with the strategy in cooperation with international bodies.
