    {Economic: Al Furat News} The State Islamic Bank of Al-Nahrain decided to increase the amount of financing the marriage murabaha service to ten million dinars, to provide an opportunity for the largest number of those wishing to obtain financing according to Islamic formulas, while reducing the Murabaha for purchasing goods to reduce the risks of financing in order to preserve public money.
    An official source in the bank said in a press statement, "The amendments to financing the Marriage Murabaha service included that the maximum amount of financing be ten million dinars instead of five million dinars, and for a financing period of (5) years, the first installment is due after (30) days from the date of receipt."
    He added, that the bank also reduced the rate of murabaha marriage to 5% from 10%, on condition that the applicant provide one or more state employees sponsor and that his net salary (their salary) covers double the monthly installment, provided that the financing period is commensurate with the age of retirement. .
    The bank stressed the need for the applicant to submit an official marriage contract certified by the competent courts, which has not been two years old.
    The source confirmed that "the bank has reduced, among the amendments it made recently, the amount of financing the Murabaha service for the purchase of goods in order to reduce the financing risks in order to preserve public money, explaining that the amount was reduced to twenty million dinars after the maximum limit for financing this service was thirty million dinars."
    He continued, "The bank provided facilities regarding Murabaha for the purchase of goods, which included not requiring the customer to provide a guarantor for up to a financing amount of fifteen million dinars, and in the event of more than that, a guarantor would be provided in proportion to half of his net salary with the monthly installment."
