{Political: Al Furat News} The head of the United Nations mission in Iraq, Jenin Hennis-Plasschaert, said that the United Nations will deploy a large team in Iraq to monitor the elections
Blaskharat said in a press conference held today in Baghdad, that "the October elections will be different and we support the Iraqi elections that are credible on a large scale," noting that "there are procedural measures not to falsify the elections and the electronic card."
She added, "Mobile phones will not be allowed in polling stations, and we will continue to support women to participate in the elections."
And she continued, "A sign language employee was appointed to help the disabled in the elections," noting that "Iraq needs deep reforms."
She concluded by saying that "more than 130 experts are present in Iraq for monitoring and electoral assistance."
