The Minister of Oil assures his Emirati counterpart the importance of accelerating the optimal investment of natural gas

{Economic: Al Furat News} Oil Minister Ihsan Abdul-Jabbar Ismail stressed, on Thursday, the importance of accelerating the optimal investment of natural gas.
A statement of the Ministry of Oil, which {Euphrates News} received a copy of, stated, "The minister met with the UAE Minister of Energy and Infrastructure Suhail Al Mazrouei on the sidelines of his participation in the "Gastec" exhibition and conference."
Abdul-Jabbar stressed the importance of accelerating the optimal investment of natural gas, increasing production and marketing by producing and exporting countries, in order to keep pace with the growth of global demand and increase consumption, and impose this responsibility on everyone, which requires more cooperation, coordination and partnership between producing and consuming countries and investing companies and developed.
He praised the bilateral relations between Baghdad and Abu Dhabi, which are witnessing steady growth in all fields, including the oil and energy sector.
For his part, UAE Minister of Energy and Infrastructure Suhail Al Mazrouei valued Iraq's role in
strengthening bilateral relations, openness and cooperation with brotherly and friendly countries, and the attention it attaches to the clean and renewable energy sector.
It is noteworthy that the activities and events of the Gastec Conference and Exhibition, which is the largest international event specialized in the fields of natural gas, liquefied gas, hydrogen and energy, opened in Dubai on Wednesday, with the participation of about 15,000 experts, decision-makers and specialists, and will continue until September 23 this year.
