Planning announces a decrease in the monthly inflation rate and an annual rise in Iraq
Shafaq News/ The Ministry of Planning announced today, Saturday, a decrease in the monthly inflation rate for the month of September by 0.7%, and an annual increase by 7.3%.
In a statement received by Shafaq News Agency, the Ministry's Central Statistics Agency said that "the inflation rate for the month of September decreased by (0.7%), compared to the previous month of August," noting that "the annual inflation rate compared to September of last year 2020, witnessed an increase at a rate of (7.3%).
He added, that the Central Bureau of Statistics, through the Index Numbers Section, prepares a monthly report on consumer price indices, which includes field follow-up of price variables, for more than (333) goods and services in all governorates, representing (88%) of the volume of spending.
