The University of Baghdad competes with its peers in the American classification of the best international universities

{Local: Efrat News} The University of Baghdad has achieved an important competitive position within the American classification of the best international universities for the year 2022 issued by (US News & World Report).
The University of Baghdad ranked 1399 out of 1,750 international academic institutions from 90 countries in the classification, which conducted an analysis in light of indicators of global research reputation (12.5%), regional research reputation (12.5%), scientific publications (10%), books (2.5%) and conferences (2.5) %), the impact of citations (10%), the sum of citations (7.5%), the number of publications that are among the most cited 10% (12.5%), the percentage of publications that are among the most cited 10% (10%), the country's international cooperation (5%) and cooperation International (5%) and the number of publications that are among the most quoted 1% (5%) and the percentage of publications that are among the most cited 1% (5%).
