Basra... Granting two investment licenses in the fields of housing and industry, at a cost of more than 11 billion dinars
Shafaq News/ The head of the Basra Investment Commission, Alaa Abdul-Hussein, revealed on Tuesday that two investment licenses had been granted in the fields of housing and industry.
The first permit relates to the establishment of a housing complex in the Shatt al-Arab district, at a cost of more than 9 billion dinars, and the second to the establishment of a plant for the production of grating iron in the industrial area (Hamdan) at a cost of more than 2 billion dinars.
In a statement received by Shafaq News Agency, Abdul-Hussein said, "The holiday of the housing complex is for the employees of the Integrity Commission in Basra, and it comes in implementation of the commission's plan to provide comfortable housing and a payment system for state employees, where 111 housing units will be established on an area of 25 dunums, with an implementation period of two and a half years." .
He added, "The second project is a plant that extends over an area of 8 acres in Hamdan Industrial, consisting of 3 gables that contain a line for the production of ferrous iron BRC with a capacity of 10 tons per day used in buildings and civil works."
Abdul Hussein continued, "Investment in Basra Governorate is progressing in advanced steps and in accordance with the prepared plans, as the year 2021 witnessed the opening of many vital and important projects that contributed to its economic revival, especially since the province with its geographical location has become an arena for attracting investors."
