    [size=45]Today, Saturday, the Iraqi Ministry of Health confirmed that it has not recorded any infection with the Omicron mutant so far, while noting that Iraq's registration of infections with the new mutant is very likely.[/size]
    [size=45]Ministry spokesman Saif Al-Badr said in a statement, “We thank the media’s continued efforts in supporting the Ministry of Health in its response to the Corona pandemic, as well as its continuation and follow-up in spreading the message of health education and awareness,” noting that “events are accelerating regarding the escalating developments regarding the new mutator and the measures taken in Countries near and far from Iraq.[/size]
    [size=45]He added, "Iraq has not recorded any infection with the new mutation until today, Saturday, although this matter is very possible and possible," stressing "the ministry's readiness to deal with this variable."[/size]
    [size=45]He pointed out that "the basics of prevention remain the same, represented by adherence to preventive measures, the most important of which is wearing masks, which have been proven to achieve a very high protection against infection from the virus, in addition to physical distancing, washing and sterilizing hands constantly, and receiving vaccinations," noting that "the latest sober data from accredited international bodies confirm to receive vaccinations, especially the third dose for risk groups, as it provides protection against all strains, including the new mutant.[/size]
