Ministry of Foreign Affairs clarified, on Tuesday, the fact that 600 Iraqi students were expelled from Iran.
"The embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Tehran is following the affairs of the children of the Iraqi community at the level of students and the community in all their classes in all Iranian provinces," said ministry spokesman Ahmed al-Sahaf, according to the official agency.
He added that "the Iraqi embassy surrounds the center of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with a detailed and periodic report every day on the conditions of the community and students in Iran, calling on the media to be accurate and to seek information from its official sources."
While the administrative employee and charge d'affaires of the cultural attaché in Tehran, Haider Muhammad Ali Nassar, explained: "The Iraqi cultural attaché in Tehran has not received any complaints from any Iraqi student in Iran on this subject."
And he added, "
