Determining the date for the payment of salaries for the month of December to employees of the Kurdistan region

The Ministry of Finance of the Kurdistan Region has set, on Thursday, the date for disbursing the salaries of the region’s employees.
The ministry said in a statement seen by "Al-Iqtisad News", that "it was decided to pay the salaries of the region's employees for the current month of December, starting from the second of next January," noting that "there will be a schedule for distributing salaries to the rest of the ministries."
And she added, "The reason for delaying the payment of salaries and postponing them until the beginning of the new year is due to the suspension of official working hours in the region from the 25th of December for a period of seven days."
