Reuters news agency revealed attempts by Iran to reduce internal tensions and unrest sparked by armed factions after the elections.
A Reuters report said that the latest of these attempts came through the intervention of the Quds Force in the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, Ismail Qaani, hours after an attack targeting the residence of Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi, and the agency stated that Qaani carried a message to those who refuse to recognize the elections that the results should be accepted.
