The National Union talks about the Democratic Party's "refusal" to take over "Barham Salih" as Iraq's presidency again
Shafaq News/ The leader of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Ghiath Al-Sorji, revealed today, Monday, that there is an agreement with the Kurdistan Democratic Party regarding the position of the presidency of the Republic of Iraq, pointing to the Democrat's refusal to take over the presidency for a second term.
Al-Sorji told Shafaq News Agency, "Until now, there has not been a final agreement with the Kurdistan Democratic Party, regarding the candidate for the presidency of the republic for the next stage," explaining that "we have an agreement with the Democrat that the position of the presidency is ours, and they did not present us with any candidate for this." position for the last period of time.
And he indicated that "the dispute between the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan and the Kurdistan Democratic Party is not over the position of the presidency, but over the candidate for this position.
