Al-Maliki accuses a "known party" of being behind the liquidation operations in southern Iraq
Shafaq News/ The leader of the State of Law coalition, Nuri al-Maliki, accused, on Tuesday, a well-known party (whose name was not mentioned) of being behind the physical liquidation of security and judiciary men in southern Iraq.
Al-Maliki said in a tweet on Twitter, "What is happening in the south of the country is a dangerous series of physical liquidations of security men, the judiciary, and citizens in general, carried out by a party known to all parties, and has become persistent in bloodshed and the spread of crime."
He added, "This requires all social and clan activities to support the security services in fighting them and holding them accountable."
Unidentified gunmen assassinated the judge specialized in the drug file, Ahmed Faisal, and the officer in the Ministry of Interior, Hussam Al-Alawi, on Saturday and Thursday, in Maysan.
