The independent Kurdish politician, Dr. Saber Ismail, confirmed that leaving the representatives of the Triple Alliance free to choose the candidate for the presidency may not be in the interest of Barzani’s party candidate, pointing out that the purchase of debts and secret agreements will have the final word on resolving this matter.

He added that “the representatives of the Triple Alliance may not vote in their entirety for the Democratic candidate, as this depends on the extent of the desire of the members of Parliament returning to the aforementioned alliance. The aforementioned may not succeed in obtaining the position of President of the Republic.”
