    On Monday, a member of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Faiq Yazidi, considered that the Kurdistan Regional Parliament is affiliated with a specific political party.
    Yazidi told the "Information" agency that "as a result of the imbalance in the election law, as well as the political contradictions adopted by the Kurdistan Democratic Party, which tried to reduce the legislative authority by itself only."
    He added, "Parliament should be the voice of the people, but there are major problems with the law that allowed the Democratic Party to impose its control and seize the largest number of parliament seats."
    The President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, had set the beginning of next October as the date for holding the elections for the region's parliament
