The Cabinet approved, during its session, Tuesday, the sale of low-cost homes allocated to poor and needy families in Anbar Governorate to their actual occupants, as an exception to the public auction procedures.
The Media Office of the Council of Ministers stated in a statement, of which “Al-Nour News” received a copy, that “the Council agreed to exclude the sale of low-cost homes allocated to poor and needy families in Anbar Governorate to their actual occupants from the public auction procedures, for their inability to purchase residential homes or plots of land. They are low income earners.
The statement added that "according to what was stated in the Anbar Governorate book No. (590) and dated January 10, 2022, taking into account the legislative decision (120 of 1982) and that the sale should be at the real price in accordance with the provisions of the Law of Sale and Lease of State Funds (21 of 2013). The amendment and Article 40, and to provide the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers with a list of the names of those covered.”
