Earth News/ The Ministry of Transport, represented by the General Company for Ports of Iraq, received, today, Wednesday, nine oil tankers that docked at the berths of the Khor Al Zubair Specialized Port.
The company’s general manager, Farhan Al-Fartousi, said in a statement received by Earth News: “The company’s ports are fully prepared to receive ships and oil tankers, as it is constantly expanding its ports,” referring to “the directive of the Minister of Transport, Captain Nasser Al-Shibli, that the company’s ports should be ready.” increasing the volume of trade exchange.
The Director-General added that "the berths of Khor Al-Zubair Specialized Port received (9) oil tankers of different nationalities, as some of them will be loaded with exported oil derivatives, while others will be unloaded from tankers loaded with imported oil derivatives."
