Today, Monday, the Integrity Commission revealed the seizure of two real estate sales and theft of public money in Babil Governorate.
The commission's investigations department said that the staff of the Babylon Investigation Office seized the head of the cooperative housing association in Babylon, and a number of members after they sold real estate belonging to the association for an amount of two billion five hundred million dinars, in violation of the law, and disposed of the amount to buy a property in a remote area at an exaggerated price of 750 million dinars.
As well as buying a bag factory for 150 million dinars and keeping it in the house of the accused, the head of the association, and distributing the rest of the amount as salaries and incentives to members of the association without a legal basis.
