The results of Friday’s meeting indicate the approval of the leaders of the coordination framework to nominate Jaafar al-Sadr to head the government, according to a proposal by the leader of the Sadrist movement
Information published by platforms close to the coordination framework indicates that "Al-Maliki has already informed Al-Sadr of the framework's approval of Jaafar Al-Sadr as prime minister", as an initial move that may lead to a solution to the crisis without a larger bloc in the manner of 2018.

Simultaneously, Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi tweeted a farewell tone, confirming his "blessing" for the choice of the winning political parties in the elections regarding the formation of the next government.
Al-Kazemi said, "The national forces and parties that emerged from the elections bear today to protect the national track by ending political blockages, and forming a government that addresses the benefits and preserves the homeland."
In turn, the leader in the coordination framework of the State of Law coalition, Ali Al-Fatlawi, says that "the recent rapprochement between the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, and the head of the coalition, Nuri al-Maliki, will be a reason for resolving the political crisis," noting that "the two sides discussed naming the next prime minister."
Al-Fatlawi added in an interview with Ultra Iraq, that "the coordinating framework held an important meeting today, to discuss what al-Sadr proposed in his phone call with al-Maliki, Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi, head of the Sovereignty Alliance Khamis al-Khanjar and the leader of the Democratic Party Massoud Barzani," noting that "al-Sadr proposed Jaafar al-Sadr as a first candidate for prime minister, as the son of the founder of the Islamic Dawa Party.
The leader in the framework explains, "Al-Maliki did not accept or reject the candidate, and left the matter for discussion in the coordination framework meeting, which came out with a decisive decision," noting that "what is going on about the nomination of Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi and Mustafa Al-Kazemi is incorrect, as Allawi's name is not proposed by the party. The foundation, Al-Kazemi is rejected by 98%, and Al-Sadr knows this well for a long time.”

Al-Fatlawi considered the current understandings between the Sadrist bloc and the coordination framework as "good", ruling out at the same time "going towards a political alliance or forming a larger bloc between the two parties."
Al-Fatlawi points out that "the coordination framework meeting also discussed the progress of his initiative to bring the views of the Patriotic Union Party and the Kurdistan Democratic Party closer to the presidency of the republic."
Satisfaction prevails among the parties to the coordination framework for the movement of the leader of the Sadrist movement as "a waiver of the option of exclusivity in forming the government," as confirmed by the leader in Maliki's coalition, Kazem al-Haidari.
Al-Haidari told "Ultra Iraq", "The coordination framework held its meeting to discuss a number of important files, most notably the contact of the leader of the Sadrist bloc with the head of the State of Law coalition, Nuri al-Maliki."
Al-Haidari added, "Al-Sadr is now starting to think that the solution is not possible in the event of taking decisions on behalf of the Shiite component in choosing the prime minister," noting that "Al-Sadr's contact with Al-Maliki presented Jaafar Al-Sadr as a candidate for prime minister, an initiative that was valued by the coordination framework in general at his meeting. And the rule of law in particular, so that the principle of understanding prevails among the political parties to come up with a candidate agreed upon by all.”
Al-Haidari points out that “the framework meeting came out with a decision that will be notified to Al-Sadr, or to go to the results of the meeting to be consulted in broader meetings between the Shiite parties and to come up with results or broader understandings for the issue of choosing the prime minister,” explaining that “the discussions of the Shiite house will be put forward for consultation with the Kurdish political parties.” Sunnis too.
Meanwhile, the leader of the Sovereignty Alliance, Mishaan al-Jubouri, said that the results of the coordination framework meeting indicated that "Jaafar al-Sadr, Iraq's ambassador in London, has become the next prime minister."
And al-Jubouri indicated in [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] , that the developments came "after Muqtada al-Sadr's contact with Nuri al-Maliki and what was leaked about the meeting of the leaders of the coordination framework."
