Shafaq News/ The Minister of Interior, Othman Al-Ghanimi, began today, Tuesday, in addition to his duties as Minister of Immigration and Displacement.
He was received by agents and a number of officials in the ministry, according to a statement issued by Al-Ghanimi's office.
The statement added that Al-Ghanimi met with the advanced owners of the Ministry of Migration and Displacement, and discussed with them a number of issues related to the ministry's work.
It is noteworthy that the Acting Minister of Interior appointed the Ministry of Migration and Displacement instead of its previous minister, who became a deputy in the distinguished parliament.
Last Wednesday, March 16, a source in the Iraqi government stated that the Minister of Interior, Othman Al-Ghanimi, had been assigned the tasks of the Ministry of Migration and Displacement, and the Minister of Justice, Salar Abdul-Jabbar, with the tasks of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs.
