    Information/Baghdad.
Muhammad Kayani, a former member of the House of Representatives from the Sulaymaniyah Governorate, revealed, on Sunday, that the majority of banks in the Kurdistan region of Iraq belong to influential officials.
Kayani said in an interview seen by / the information /, that "retirees in Kurdistan cannot obtain a K-Card and MasterCard," noting that "most of the banks in Kurdistan belong to influential officials."
Kayani added, "These banks do not have external accreditation, and therefore they cannot grant retirees a K-Card and MasterCard."
It should be noted that two retirees died during the past few days while receiving their pensions due to the stampede as a result of the long receiving queues in front of banks in the region. finished/25
